After a three year hiatus, some great news. It was announced that Bobby's new CD, "Fun" (Jazzizit JITCD 0434), will be released later this month. I will post more news here as I hear about it. I hope to have a review CD next week.

At long last Bobby's new CD, "The Best IS Yet To Come" has been released. I hope to bring you a review or two soon. Apparently it was the Observer's pick of the week recently. Having heard it, I can understand why! It is a superb record.

Spike Wells, Bobby's former drummer has kindly given me permission to publish his August 1978 profile of Bobby, "Keeper of the Flame". This is an inciteful and intelligent evaluation of the complex talent that makes Bobby such a rewarding player to listen to, written by a former colleague and a genuine enthusiast. Thanks Spike!

I have tidied up the Cover Art section and sorted out dead links. Next, I will put Kenny Mathieson's reviews on-line and finish the biography to-date.
