Photos of Bobby

Here are some new photographs of Bobby playing or rehearsing.

The first three come from Josie Thompson and her husband Bill. They show Bobby at the Vicenza Festival, Italy in late 2006. He was booked to appear solo at the Wall St Institute, where he went down very well with all the students.

He also appeared with Stan Tracey's Trio & with Norma WInstone at a concert night, when Stan was presented with the freedom of Vicenza.

Next, here's one by Garry Corbett taken at Cork's Jazz Club, Bearwood, near Birmingham. This really capture's Bobby's 'look'.

Finally, some time ago my very good friend, Bob Johnston, kindly gave me six pictures of Bobby in rehearsal at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen in July 1992.

They show Bobby practising with three local Aberdeen musicians; the late Frank Stephenson (piano), Peter Lowitt (bass) and Stuart Ritchie (drums).

I really enjoy these pictures as they bring back memories of an excellent night's
music !
